Our Story
2019
Ngeli Foods began as a small, family-run beekeeping venture with just 20 hives. Driven by a passion for sustainability, our founder, Stanley, optimized hive efficiency, laying the foundation for growth.
2020 - 2021
Through reinvesting honey sales, we expanded fivefold, reaching 100 hives and successfully building our first apiary house.
2022 - 2023
A major milestone came when we won the Kenyan, Middle East, Pakistan, and Africa Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards, enabling us to incorporate Ngeli Foods and begin commercial production.
2024
We scaled our impact by partnering with 80+ beekeepers, establishing a state-of-the-art processing facility, and bringing on a full-time team and advisory board. We also formed strategic partnerships with the Tony Elumelu Foundation, World Resources Institute, Fledge, Barka Fund, and KIRDI, strengthening our mission to revolutionize sustainableĀ beekeeping.
